New Year Resolutions?

It's that time once again, a new year and the same old resolutions for many folks! Loosing weight, dieting, etc. are probably in the top 3 of the list of resolutions many folks make come January 1st.
However we all know how that turns out in reality. A few days of action and then the folks start to falter and finally abandon whatever fad diet or exercise regimen they had enthusiastically embraced just a few days ago!
So what is the solution, you ask? Simple really. It is easier to build small changes in our routine to get to the final desired optimal routine. So instead of going the whole hog from the get go, it's better to incorporate small changes in your routine, for eg.
1) Try going out for a walk for 20 minutes to begin with.
2) Begin eating atleast one healthy, freshly cooked meal at home.
3) Instead of a pizza/junk food, try eating healthy and tasty indian alternative of chaat !
4) Have your dinner well before 8 pm to give your digestive organs time to do their work!
5) Slowly increase the consumption of fresh vegetables in your diet.
6) Cut out the sugary beverages and sweets, instead opt for a fresh juice or fruit.
The positive feedback loop generated as a result of the above will uplift your mood and will help you stay on the right track and over time you will get the optimal results!
